Book Friesian Cottage in Heathfield, East Sussex

Friesian Cottage in Heathfield is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom holiday home converted from a cow stable. The ground-floor unit has a private entrance, parquet floors, and a living room. The single vacation home includes a master bedroom that a seven-night guest described as huge, with furniture made to match the character of the original cow stable.

The fully equipped kitchen has a proper cooker and oven, a kettle, a French press, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a big fridge and freezer with three drawers. A four-slot toaster is available for family breakfasts. The ground-floor unit also has a dining area, a living room, and a washing machine.

The property has a patio, garden views, and a fireplace. A seven-night guest noted the fireplace came with enough wood and fire starters for the week. Fresh flowers, a bottle of milk in the fridge, and treats and dog bags welcomed the arriving guest.

Friesian Cottage is located 55 km from London Gatwick Airport. Herstmonceux Castle is 10 km away, and Glyndebourne Opera House is 21 km away. Free on-site private parking is available.

Friesian Cottage accepts pets, and the Booking oversight about a small dog caused no problems. The instructions for finding the remote cottage were described as foolproof, and all questions were answered immediately. A seven-night family stay rated the cottage 10 out of 10 and reported no complaints.
